- The JETCET print configuration manager allows you to add a printer, remove a printer, set the default printer, as well as other printer settings.
- Please note that this option is only available for Canon and Epson LQ compatible printers. The print properties can be opened by selecting Properties from the Settings dialog in the configuration window. The print properties options are:
Quality - Color Options:
Select Color (for color printers only) or Monochrome for the desired print output.
Under Scheme, select Photo for natural colors print quality, Business Presentation for bright color and Custom for your specific requirements.
Print Quality:
High Quality will give better output but will print slower than Normal Quality.
Advanced - Toner Saver:
The default setting none gives the highest quality printing and will use the most toner.
The dark setting uses less toner while still producing the entire image.
The light setting will print an outline of the letters and uses the least amount of toner.
Layout Options:
The single option produces standard margins while the 2-Up is booklet style.
- To print to a networked printer, do the following:
Insert the network card into device.
From the print dialog Port selection, select Network.
In the Net Path edit box, type the network path to the printer (\\servername\printer).
- JETCET supports bluetooth printers and adapters using the Serial Port Protocol (SPP). Before you add a Bluetooth printer, set up the Bluetooth connections on your device using the following steps:
Enable the Bluetooth radio using the Bluetooth Manager.
Bind the printer to your device using the Bluetooth Manager.
When automatically or manually configuring a printer, the Outbound Bluetooth Com Port on your device is automatically populated in the Port field. Changing this field for a Bluetooth printer will cause conflicts during printing and is not recommended.
- To use the IrDA printing, be sure the IrDA on the device is compatible with the IrDA on the printer. The IrDA's on both devices need to be close together and pointing towards each other.
- Internet Printing will allow printing using an IP address of a printer that supports the internet printing protocol (IPP). To enable printing over the Internet, select COM5 as the printer port.
- Unfortunately, the serial to parallel adapter is not supported by JETCET Print Pocket. However, you can use the following parallel to an IrDA adapter to facilitate printing via IrDA from a parallel port. Extend Systems Jeteye IrDA Infrared Printer Adapter ESI-9580A.

- Email attachments are not always downloaded with the e-mail message. You may need to download the attachments separately using ActivSync.
- Make sure that the IrDA on the printer is placed right next to and pointed to the IrDA on your Pocket PC.
